Emma Bunton 'spices' up wardrobe for mum and baby

Zara Martin from Elstree, Hertfordshire visited Argos' head office in Milton Keynes this week for a unique style makeover for her 14 month old son, Jamie, by celebrity mother, singer and Heart presenter, Emma Bunton.

Zara won the opportunity to have Emma style her baby personally using pieces from Emma's exclusive clothing collection for Argos, by bidding the highest amount of money in a Heart charity auction earlier this year.

Zara's generous winning bid of £1,770 secured her the prize in the auction, held as part of Heart's 'Have a Heart' Appeal Day. 'Have a Heart' is the station's dedicated charity which aims to improve the lives of disadvantaged children living in its local communities and this year's Appeal raised nearly £350,000 in support of ChildLine.

Zara and baby Jamie spent an afternoon at Argos' head office with Emma, joined by partner Jade and son Tate, where they all enjoyed drinks and cupcakes whilst browsing items from Emma's clothing collection.

Emma shared tips on the best colours and styles to suit Jamie, picking outfits from the 99-piece range she designed exclusively for Argos. Zara enjoyed dressing Jamie with Emma's help and mother and baby took home the entire Argos Emma Bunton baby boy collection.

Winner, Zara Martin, said: "It was so exciting to meet Emma and her family, I've always been a huge fan of Emma Bunton and her radio show and I really enjoyed hearing her advice as a fellow mother. Jamie looks great in his new outfits, especially his t-shirt. It's also really good to know that my charity donation is helping other children who are not as fortunate."

Emma Bunton said: "Zara's bid in our 'Have a Heart' auction was hugely generous, and many children will benefit from her donation. I really enjoyed sharing my range with Zara and little Jamie, who looked great in all the outfits. As a mum myself I'm forever searching for fun and fashionable clothes for my boys, that are comfortable and practical too - clothes they really want to wear."

The collaboration is the first of its kind for both Argos and Emma, which saw the clothing range launch in stores and on argos.co.uk in January this year. It includes clothing for boys and girls from newborn to ten years old.
