This Bank Holiday weekend, the TV presenter is asking shoppers to #ARGOSIT with their shopping emergencies.
TV presenter Brian Dowling is joning forces with Argos, the UK's largest general merchandise retailer, to help people out this Bank Holiday. On Saturday 25 August Brian will be on call through the Argos Twitter account (@Argos_Online) to respond to last minute shopping dilemmas from Londoners and bring whatever they need direct to their front door.
Heading up one of two 'SOS Squads', the TV presenter will be driving through the streets of London to answer tweets submitted using the hashtag #ARGOSIT. People in Birmingham can also get involved with a dedicated SOS squad visiting their city.
Brian Dowling said: "I can't wait to get involved with the #ARGOSIT SOS Squads and help people have a great Bank Holiday weekend. Be it last minute visitors, a sudden downpour or even a best man who has forgotten the rings, it'll be Brian to the rescue!"
No matter what the Great British weather decides to do, Brian and the team will be able to surprise London residents with anything they need from the vast 35,000 products in the Argos range.
Carl Nield, Argos Head of Brand Marketing, said: "We wanted to give something back to our customers to prevent any interruptions to their Bank Holiday weekend. Anyone with a shopping emergency can go online to argos.co.uk to check and reserve their item at a local store, where it can be picked up as soon as they need it. No other retailer offers such convenience and peace of mind for shoppers."
If you have a shopping dilemma for Brian Dowling and Argos in London or for Argos in Birmingham tweet @Argos_Online with #ARGOSIT and the SOS squad could be knocking on your front door.
