Home Retail Group Highly Commended for Payroll Giving

Home Retail Group was delighted to be awarded Highly Commended for the Best Large Employer Campaign at the Payroll Giving Quality Mark Awards on 8 October 2008. Last year Home Retail Group won the award for the Most Innovative Promotion.

The Best Large Employer Campaign recognises employers with more than 250 employees who carried out a well-constructed and well-thought-out promotion with measurable results. The winner also had to be able to illustrate that the campaign included originality, innovation and creativity.

Home Retail Group HR Director, David Guise, commented: "We’re delighted to achieve Highly Commended in the Best Large Employer category. It is a fantastic recognition for the Group and for our colleagues whose generous donations make our Payroll Giving Scheme an award winner".

The Payroll Giving Quality Mark Awards are an Institute of Fundraising initiative, funded by HM Government, and administered by the Payroll Giving Centre. The awards are issued annually to celebrate the efforts of employers, charities and professional partnerships in promoting Payroll Giving in the work place. Only employers with a current Quality Mark Award are eligible to enter the National Payroll Giving Excellence Awards.
