Shareholder Documentation

In accordance with the Listing Rules, copies of the following documents have been submitted to the UK Listing Authority:

• Annual Report and Financial Statements 2007
• Notice of 2007 Annual General Meeting
• Shareholder proxy form
• Draft amended Articles of Association

These documents will shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document Viewing Facility which is situated at:

The documents will also shortly be available on the Company's website www.homeretailgroup.com.

At the Annual General Meeting on 3 July 2007, it is proposed that the Company's Articles of Association be amended as a result of the new regime regarding electronic communications with shareholders. A summary of the proposed changes is set out in the Notice of 2007 Annual General Meeting and the draft amended Articles are available for inspection at the Company's registered office as well as on the Company's website.
